This user-friendly and intuitive app provides various unlocking options for added security. You can verify your identity through a selfie match, a self-selected pin, or by using TouchID/FaceID, guaranteeing the protection of your personal information.

Registering for your Iowa mID is a simple process that consists of five easy steps:

1. Download the app and adjust permissions.
2. Verify access to your phone number.
3. Scan the front and back of your driver's license or ID card using your device camera.
4. Follow the app's registration instructions to take a selfie.
5. Set up app security options, and you're ready to go!

Please note: Iowa Mobile ID functions as an official state-issued ID and should be carried alongside your physical ID. While not all entities can currently verify mID, it serves as a valuable companion to its traditional counterpart.
